SkipSeen (“the extension”) skips YouTube videos you have already watched during autoplay. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

What data the extension handles

To do its job, SkipSeen stores the following locally in your browser, using the Chrome storage API:

• Watched-video history — the IDs of YouTube videos you've watched, used to decide which videos to skip.
• Settings — your on/off preference and related options.
• Session skip data — a temporary count and log of videos skipped during your current browsing session.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, transmit, or upload any of this data to any server.
• We do not sell or share your data with any third party.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not require an account or ask for any personal information.

All data stays on your device. If you uninstall the extension or use the “Clear history” button in the popup, the stored data is removed.

Permissions

• storage — to save your watched-video history and settings on your device.
• Access to youtube.com — so the extension can detect the current video and skip already-watched videos during autoplay. No data from these pages is collected or transmitted.
